About The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army, an evangelical part of the universal Christian church established in London in 1865, has been supporting those in need in His name without discrimination for 130 years in the United States. Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. Eighty-two cents of every dollar The Salvation Army spends is used to support these services in 5,000 communities nationwide.

About Operation Cinderella
“Once Upon A Time…,” those words bring images of princesses, fairy godmothers and magical kingdoms. But, for many women, life is a little more difficult, and disappointments and the reality of their family situations has them feeling a lot like Cinderella: The Cinderella in rags. Operation Cinderella’s goal is to bring a little “magic” back into a woman’s life. The way Operation Cinderella does this is by holding an event where deserving women are provided a night to remember…In four years at the Camden Kroc Center, over 200 women have been blessed on this night to remember, including 65 women in 2015. Now in 2016, “Cinderella Club” has begun a weekly support group to keep the fellowship and love flowing all year round. Attendance has grown to 50 women each week.
