In 1882 the New Brunswick Corps was commissioned as the seventh Corps in the United States. The New Brunswick Corps service area includes: East Brunswick, Highland Park, Milltown, New Brunswick and North Brunswick.
A significant increase in persons seeking assistance is noticeable and comparable to the population growth within this area. There has been a large influx of non-English speaking families to which The Salvation Army has provided a helping hand meeting basic needs such as food, rental, utility and medical assistance.
As it has done for more than a century The Salvation Army has kept pace and continues to play an essential role in the lives of area residents fulfilling it’s national promise of “Doing the Most Good.”
Blessings,
Captains Aloir and Rute Andrade - Corps Officers
